Features

We have added a new role, Supervisor, to available user roles.

Supervisor users are considered as privileged users like Superusers and Administrators.

Superuser is a designated role for the core provisioning team (ie. Teloscube employees).

The difference between the Supervisor and Administrator role is that Administrator users can manage system users (ie. create, update and delete system users), whereby Supervisor users can only read the list of system users and their details.

A typical use case for this change is as follows: The IT team can assume the Administrator role and assign Supervisor role to power users who need access to entire functionality of DECAF except user management.

We are in the (long) process of simplifying the roles structure.

Please expect changes to the DECAF principal role structure in the future. We are planning to make these changes in a seamless way without requiring our DECAF Instance administrators to make any or big changes to their user provisioning plans. We will keep DECAF Instances administrators updated prior to any material changes.
