Release Notes 2019-09-01
Dropdowns for instrument/contract fields
Users can now search and select following fields on instruments/contracts:
- Issuer
- Issuer Domicile
- Country
- MIC
- Sector
- GICS Sector
- SP Rating
- SP Outlook
If the value is not in the list, this means that this is a new value and users can still "add" it as they type.
Scrollable "Extras" dropdown menu
The "Extras" dropdown menu was not fully visible if the screen size is too small. With this fix, the dropdown became now scrollable.
Trade Order Management System Enhancements (BETA)
This function is under pilot testing. Therefore, your installation may not provide you with this function yet. Please refer to the current overview notes and stay tuned while we are getting ready for the launch.
There are some important improvements and fixes the Trade Order Management System (TOMS).
Bulk Trade Order Feature
This change introduces "bulk trade order" instructions. Although it is an optional feature, we anticipate it will be useful for frequently trading institutions. Guides will be made available for more efficient use of this feature.
"Sane" Defaults
We have defined sane and smart(er) defaults for initial trading forms. This will save users time.
Persistent Trading States and Related Enhancements
States defined over trading objects (Trade Order Group, Trade Order, Trade Order Allocation and Trade Order Execution) are now persistent, not computed. The practical, high-level impact is that users can now filter trading objects by their state.
Renaming "Trade Group" to "Trading Team"
TOMS has its own team concept. This allows certain authorization rules to apply who can see what.
Initially, the concept was presented under the name Trade Group. However, we are now referring to groups of trade orders as Trade Order Groups. To avoid any confusion, we have renamed the team concept from Trade Group to Trading Team.
